I have an exhibition opening tonight Friday the 13th for an experimental installation titled Another Green World. (The title is named after an album by Brian Eno)
This installation consists of VR, synthetic grass, plants, PLA thermoplastic sculptures (3d printed object), painting on linen, light and sound. It was created as part of my Doctorate project as I wanted to discuss light as an object using Object Orientated Ontology (OOO). The install was a bit nerve wracking because I have never used light or VR like this before.
Anyway, if you’d like to see the show it’s on until September 22nd at Red Gallery in Fitzroy North in Melbourne.
This is the blurb for the show:
A digital combine that explores the colour green using physical, digital and virtual objects joined together using instructions placed in the metadata of an NFT. Sue is interested in how these disparate objects make meaning through a type of oscillation; a central idea found in Metamodernism.
